IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING TRUTH

2 Chronicles 15:1 Now the Spirit of Elohim came upon Azariah the son of Oded. 2 And he (Azariah) went out to meet Asa (the king), and said to him: "Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. YHWH is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you."

YHWH told Jeremiah that if He could find ONE PERSON in Jerusalem that really seeks the truth, He would pardon the whole city!

Jer 5:1 Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.

John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 Elohim is Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The Hebrew word "elohim" means "mighty one." It has been mistranslated as "god" in most English translations.

John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.

John 16:13 But when that One comes, the Spirit of Truth, it will guide you into all Truth, for it will not speak from itself, but whatever it hears, it will speak; and it will announce the coming things to you.

Acts 5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the set-apart Spirit, whom YHWH hath given to them that obey him.

1Pe 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently

2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work; only until that which now restrains is taken out of the way. 8 And then shall the lawless one be revealed, whom Yahushua shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause YHWH shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be condemned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Pr 1:22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity, and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? 23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. 24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; 25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; 27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; THEY SHALL SEEK ME EARLY, BUT THEY SHALL NOT FIND ME: 29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of YHWH: 30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

Jer 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
